Mail Room Assistant

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a reliable and organized Mail Room Assistant to join their client's team in California. This role involves handling all aspects of mail distribution and offers a dynamic work environment for individuals looking to contribute to the smooth operations of a busy office setting.

Responsibilities:

• Sorting and distributing incoming mail to various departments and staff members efficiently.
• Assisting in the preparation and dispatch of outgoing mail, including packaging and postage.
• Maintaining accurate records of mail received and sent, ensuring confidentiality and security of information.
• Supporting administrative tasks related to mailroom operations as required.
• Operating and maintaining mailroom equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal staff regarding mailroom inquiries and requests.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Previous experience in a mailroom or administrative role is preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to lift and move mail packages as needed.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 1st shift

Benefits:

Competitive pay ranging from $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience.
