GIS Technician

Role summary / purpose

This position will be responsible for completing tasks including manipulating GIS data from various sources in ArcView, performing QAQC for a conflation project in Smallworld, and generating analytical reports and thematic maps using GIS data for internal and external customers.

Requirements - education & experience

• Minimum 2 years GIS experience
• GIS or related technical degree preferred

Nice-to-have / preferred skills

• Strong background and demonstrated experience in ESRI products
• Experience in Smallworld
• Utility experience
