Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a KEM Coater Operator for our client. This job involves loading, unloading, testing, and operating the Spartanic Punch in the KEM department.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Operate, clean and troubleshoot KEM punch
• Conduct deck integrity inspections
• Loads KEM sheets in the punch
• Inspect sheets as they exit the machine for proper registration
• Operates the machine controls in accordance with operating instructions 
• Immediately update maintenance and management of any machine or department abnormalities
• Keep work areas clean and orderly in accordance with 5S standards
• Complete production logs and perform system documentation
• Review with lead person work to be performed
• Comply with documentation such as the follower and schedule
• All duties assigned by KEM Lead and management

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of machine operation experience
• Prior printing experience preferred   
• High School diploma or equivalent work experience
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong Mechanical aptitude 
• High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines
• Ability to quickly identify production problems and ability to identify quality problems 
• Ability to work well with others and cooperate with team members and leadership team
• Sitting at workstation as little as 20% of work time, standing and walking as much as 80% depending on assignment.
• Ability to move or lift to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills
