Registered Nurse - Diagnostic Imaging

This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required. This position offers an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of diagnostic imaging. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds. Medical/surgical and telemetry experience is preferred. Registered Nurses are responsible for pre/post and 23-hour care for interventional radiology patients. Care for patients boarding overnight pre- or post-procedure is also part of the role. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
