Licensed Practical Nurse - Travel - RN: Med/Surg
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position in the Med/Surg unit. This role involves working with adult and geriatric patients and requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy and teamwork.
Unit Profile
- Number of Beds: 18
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Equipment Used: Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, Kangaroo feeding pumps, PCA pumps
- EHR System: Cerner
Position Information
- Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
- Float Requirements: As needed, may float to surgical, neuro, or intermediate units
Qualifications
- Required Certifications: North Carolina or compact license, Basic Life Support, NIH Stroke Scale
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Cerner experience, IV competency
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: Charge experience is a plus
