TravelNurseSource is working with All Medical Personnel to find a qualified PCU / Stepdown RN in Laurel Highlands Region, Pennsylvania!

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Latrobe, PA | PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Days/Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (3x12 may be considered) | Every other weekend expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/Stepdown unit setting
• Manage a patient assignment at established unit ratios (typically 4–5:1, up to 6:1)
• Float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
• Complete pre-start compliance modules prior to entering the facility
• Participate in every other holiday rotation as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required (AHA-issued certifications only accepted; must be current at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (verified by driver's license)
• Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
• Must be available to work every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are encouraged to apply
