Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse – Upstate New York

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours per week available; full-time assignment with flexible scheduling options

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma Center experience highly preferred for optimal success in this critical care environment
• Float pool opportunity across multiple ICU specialties including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Epic EMR system utilized facility-wide (Epic experience required)
• Competency assessment administered within 24 hours of submission to ensure clinical readiness
• Previous travel nursing experience required for this assignment
• Opportunity to care for diverse critical care patient populations including ICU/PCC patients in ED and PACU settings

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New York (certain counties excluded from local applicant consideration)
• Previous travel nursing experience mandatory
• Epic EMR system proficiency required
• Level I Trauma Center experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated competency and comfort level caring for patients across multiple ICU environments
• Experience floating to various ICU units highly desired
• Adherence to dress code requirements (navy blue scrubs)
• Valid email required for competency testing coordination
