Registered Nurse (RN) - 13-Week Contract Position

Schedule

This position requires working 3 shifts per week on an AM schedule from 07:00 to 19:30, with each shift being 12 hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating the care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN utilizes nursing principles, theories, and current methods to individualize patient care by collaborating with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members. The RN also directs nursing support staff in providing care in accordance with nursing practice standards and administrative policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care.
• Adhere to nursing practice standards and departmental policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty area (preferred).
• PA Registered Nurse License (required).
• Basic Life Support certification (required).
• Multi-State Compact RN License (required).
