Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents

• Conduct exercises, treatments, and procedures as directed by physical therapists and in accordance with established protocols

• Maintain accurate records and reports of patient treatments and progress

• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to discuss resident care and treatment plans

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Requirements:

• Currently certified or eligible to become a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in physical therapy or related field preferred

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
