Civil Engineer (PE) - Site Development

We are partnering with a growing engineering consulting firm seeking a Civil Engineer (PE) to join their expanding Site Development team. This opportunity offers the chance to work on a variety of commercial land development projects while helping shape the future growth of a highly visible department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical side of engineering and project leadership responsibilities. The team is looking for a hands‑on engineer who wants to continue designing and managing projects while developing into a leadership role over time. What You’ll Be Doing Design and prepare commercial site development plans and construction documents Perform grading, drainage, utility, and site layout design Manage multiple projects simultaneously from design through construction Coordinate with clients, municipalities, consultants, and contractors Participate in permitting and agency coordination efforts Review environmental, geotechnical, traffic, and related engineering reports Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, and site visits Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables Mentor junior engineers and designers Project Types Projects include a variety of commercial developments such as: Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required 4+ years of civil engineering experience focused on site development or land development Strong experience with grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience working with local municipalities and permitting agencies Strong communication and project management skills Benefits Annual performance bonus Company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance Dental coverage options 401(k) plan with immediate vesting upon eligibility Additional paid time off opportunities during the holiday season Why Consider This Opportunity?
