12-hr shifts -- days 7 am - 7 pm or nights 7 pm - 7 am
Night beeper call -- must be within 10 minutes of hospital
3 - 4 shifts per week; 12 guaranteed hours per day
15 - 20 patients per shift
Inpatient pediatric surgery setting
Pediatric patients -- maximum age 16 - 17 years old
Required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS/APLS certifications
Pediatric surgery NP/PA experience required
