You'll leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct critical diagnostic procedures, working closely with a nurturing team of healthcare professionals while providing comfort and clarity to patients in need of accurate imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Execute a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during assessments, offering clear and compassionate explanations at every turn
- Team up with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic imagery
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
- Maintain precise documentation of procedures and keep thorough patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current ARDMS certification or an equivalent credential
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Broad expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Adeptness in both independent and collaborative work within a multidisciplinary environment
