About the Role:

The Sourcing Manager plays a critical role in the procurement process, ensuring that the organization secures high-quality materials and services at competitive prices. This position involves developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. The Sourcing Manager will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and translate them into effective sourcing plans. By building strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating favorable terms, the Sourcing Manager will contribute to cost savings and operational efficiency. Ultimately, this role is essential for maintaining the supply chain's integrity and supporting the overall success of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sourcing or procurement roles, with a track record of successful negotiations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) or similar credentials.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting thorough market research.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance and quality standards.

Skills:

The required skills for this role include strong analytical abilities, which are essential for evaluating supplier proposals and market trends. Excellent negotiation skills will be utilized daily to secure favorable contracts and build lasting relationships with suppliers. Effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating with internal teams and conveying sourcing strategies clearly. Additionally, proficiency in procurement software and tools will enhance efficiency in managing sourcing activities. Preferred skills, such as project management experience, will aid in overseeing sourcing initiatives and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
