Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Clinical Lab Scientist, you will be instrumental in unraveling medical mysteries, providing crucial diagnostic insights that directly impact patient treatment and recovery. Every day, you will perform complex technical analyses across various laboratory disciplines, meticulously verifying results for accuracy and quality assurance. You will operate and maintain sophisticated instrumentation and collaborate closely with laboratory leadership to uphold the highest standards of practice and patient care. Key Responsibilities Utilize significant independent judgment to test patient samples through various chemical, microscopic, serological, and bacteriologic techniques Assist management with the maintenance of appropriate policies, procedures, and equipment as requested Conduct orientation and training of new personnel and monitor performance of personnel in the section of primary responsibility as requested Operate and maintain automated equipment and maintain an adequate inventory of departmental supplies Perform quality control, quality assurance, and performance improvement indicators routinely in the department Maintain work areas in an appropriate state of orderliness Job Requirements Required Recent clinical laboratory experience Preferred Bachelor’s degree in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences Experience in an acute care hospital Pay Range $47.52 - $70.68 /hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
