Pay: $85,000–$115,000 per year

Position Overview

Plan Life Care is seeking an experienced and results-driven Remote Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology-focused projects that support the organization's operational, administrative, and client-service objectives.

This position will manage projects from initial planning through successful implementation, working closely with leadership, internal teams, technology partners, and external vendors in a fully remote environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, and capable of independently managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technology and business projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate projects across operations, technology, administration, and external vendors.
• Define project scope, objectives, requirements, and success criteria.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
• Identify potential issues and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Conduct virtual project meetings and maintain consistent stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate software implementations, system upgrades, technology deployments, and integrations.
• Work with technical teams and vendors to resolve project-related issues.
• Translate business needs into clear technical and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, schedules, and action items.
• Provide regular project updates and recommendations to leadership.
• Ensure projects remain aligned with organizational objectives and priorities.
• Coordinate testing, implementation, training, and project handoff activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, processes, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure projects follow applicable company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Remote Work Responsibilities

Because this is a remote position, the successful candidate must be able to:

• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain reliable internet and a professional remote-work environment.
• Attend virtual meetings consistently and communicate effectively through digital collaboration tools.
• Manage deadlines and priorities across multiple projects.
• Maintain responsiveness during established business hours.
• Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams.
• Protect confidential company, client, employee, and business information while working remotely.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in project management, technical project management, IT, systems implementation, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Strong project planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience developing project plans, timelines, budgets, and status reports.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred

• PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, Agile, or similar certification.
• Experience working in healthcare, home care, senior care, or another regulated environment.
• Experience with EHR, CRM, scheduling, workforce-management, or healthcare technology systems.
• Experience managing software implementations and system integrations.
• Experience working with third-party technology vendors.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project-management methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, project-management platforms, CRM systems, collaboration tools, and other business technologies.

Compensation

$85,000–$115,000 annually

Recommended target salary: $100,000 per year

Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, technical expertise, education, certifications, project-management experience, and overall qualifications.
