RN - Medical Surgical (Med/Surg)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 5 days on / 2 days off rotation | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Deliver care to pediatric patients as part of the Med/Surg patient population
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Pediatrics (PEDS) experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) — must be current at time of submission
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA — must be current at time of submission
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through AHA — must be current at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• Experience in a fast-paced or rural hospital setting
