Site Safety Manager

The Site Safety Manager is responsible for implementing and enforcing the company’s Safety and Health Program on assigned construction and mining projects. This position ensures compliance with OSHA, MSHA, client, and company requirements while promoting a proactive safety culture and preventing injuries, property damage, and environmental incidents. Site Safety Manager Essential Responsibilities Promote a positive safety culture through leadership and employee engagement. Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, company policies, and client safety requirements. Conduct toolbox talks and required safety training. Perform routine jobsite inspections, audits, and equipment inspections. Identify hazards and verify timely corrective actions. Investigate incidents, near misses, and property damage, and complete required documentation. Lead Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), pre-task planning, and high-risk activity reviews. Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, training documentation, and regulatory paperwork. Support project management in achieving safety goals while maintaining productivity. Serve as the primary safety liaison for employees, management, clients, and regulatory agencies. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of construction and/or mining safety experience. Strong working knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations. MSHA Instructor Certification preferred. Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
