Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in HPC administration, architecture, or a related role.
- Extensive experience with Linux/Unix systems administration, including Red Hat, CentOS, or Ubuntu.
- Proficiency with HPC schedulers and workload managers (e.g., Slurm, PBS, or Grid Engine).
- Strong understanding of parallel computing, cluster management, and networking in HPC environments.
- Experience with storage technologies (e.g., Lustre, NFS, GPFS) and interconnects (e.g., InfiniBand, Ethernet).
- Scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Singularity) is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based HPC (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or hybrid HPC setups.
- Familiarity with monitoring and performance tools such as Nagios, Ganglia, or Grafana.
- Knowledge of parallel programming and distributed computing (e.g., MPI, OpenMP) is advantageous.
