This full-time role, located near the scenic coast of Carlsbad, CA, is set to cover a leave period from December through June. You’ll enjoy working with a dedicated team focused on supporting students' academic, social, and emotional needs. Caseload details will be discussed during the interview process, allowing you to gain a clear understanding of the expectations and tailor your expertise where it’s most needed. Qualifications & Experience: Valid California School Psychologist credential or eligibility to obtain Previous experience working with high school students preferred Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in team settings and adapt to diverse student populations Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed Assist in the development of positive behavioral support programs Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with policy and regulations Benefits & Perks: This contract assignment comes with highly competitive compensation paid weekly.
