About the Role

The  Global Operations & Partnerships Coordinator will serve as the operational nerve center supporting Verde Nexus’s U.S. and international partnership-development activities.

Working closely with the Founder & CEO and Global Pilot & Strategic Partnerships Lead, this individual will organize research, CRM activity, prospect development, calendars, follow-up systems, documentation, dashboards, and cross-market coordination.

This is not primarily a traditional administrative-assistant position. We are seeking an organized global operator who can help leadership maintain visibility across multiple partnership lanes, markets, countries, deadlines, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the central partnership CRM and ensure records remain accurate and current.
• Track follow-up dates, meetings, opportunity stages, next actions, and responsible team members.
• Research prospective workforce organizations, agricultural partners, institutions, buyers, corporations, universities, government programs, NGOs, and international partners.
• Identify decision-makers and prepare qualified prospect lists.
• Build and maintain country and regional market-development files.
• Coordinate calendars and meetings across multiple time zones.
• Prepare weekly dashboards, briefing materials, pipeline reports, and executive summaries.
• Record meeting outcomes and ensure agreed next steps are documented.
• Coordinate information between U.S. partnership representatives, international market representatives, the Global Pilot & Strategic Partnerships Lead, and the Founder.
• Maintain organized proposal, MOU, pilot-brief, procurement, partnership, and supporting-document files.
• Track grant, procurement, institutional, and strategic-partnership opportunities where assigned.
• Maintain document version control and authorized file access.
• Support correspondence preparation and professional follow-up.
• Assist leadership with research and special projects supporting U.S. and global expansion.
• Protect confidential business, partnership, operational, and strategic information.

Ideal Candidate

Strong candidates should demonstrate:

• Experience in operations coordination, executive/virtual assistance, project coordination, research, program support, or partnership operations.
• Excellent organizational and research capabilities.
• Experience maintaining CRM systems, project-management tools, spreadsheets, databases, or structured pipelines.
• Strong written English and professional business communication.
• Ability to prepare concise reports, dashboards, briefing documents, and correspondence.
• Experience coordinating distributed teams or stakeholders across multiple time zones.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing accuracy.
• Comfort researching organizations, markets, decision-makers, and international opportunities.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
• Global mindset and cross-cultural awareness.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools, digital platforms, e-learning, sustainability, agriculture, workforce development, or digital commerce is advantageous.

A bachelor’s degree in business, international business, communications, project management, international studies, or a related field is welcomed, but  demonstrated capability and relevant practical experience may substitute for formal education .

Engagement & Compensation

This position begins as a  part-time/project-based contract engagement during Verde Nexus’s pilot and capital-development stage.

Compensation will be defined in writing before services begin and will primarily consist of:

• a fixed weekly or project-based fee tied to clearly defined deliverables; and
• where appropriate, fixed performance or quality bonuses.

This position is  not designed as a commission-dependent role because its primary value is operational execution, research quality, coordination, data integrity, and organizational support.

Verde Nexus is implementing a  funding-triggered compensation progression . As usable operating capital and sustainable revenue are received, high-performing team members may be considered for increased project compensation, recurring monthly retainers, expanded responsibilities, and ultimately salaried employment when sufficient operating runway exists.

No salaried position is guaranteed, and any future employment relationship would require a separate written offer.

Work Arrangement

Remote | Global Operating Scope

This position is intentionally designed to support a distributed international operation. Candidates may be located outside the United States, subject to appropriate contractor documentation, local requirements, communication capability, and the ability to coordinate effectively with U.S. leadership and international stakeholders.

Availability for reasonable overlap with U.S. Eastern Time will be necessary for designated meetings and leadership coordination, while much of the work may be completed asynchronously.
