Introduction Our client is a hospital that is hiring a full-time Medical Director to lead its veterinary team while continuing to provide exceptional patient care. Caring for cats and dogs, this well-established practice has been serving the community for over 60 years and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian seeking a leadership role within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. Role Description and Responsibilities This position involves undertaking the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities while serving as the clinical leader of the hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care, mentor and support fellow veterinarians, help guide clinical standards, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice. This role is ideally suited to an experienced veterinarian who is looking to combine clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities while helping to foster a positive and collaborative team culture. The hospital offers flexible scheduling options and no weekend commitments, supporting an excellent work-life balance. Practice Details The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on weekends. Providing a full scope of GP services, the practice is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment technology including, but not limited to, an in-house laboratory, Digital Dental X-Ray, Digital X-Ray, and Ultrasound. Additional facilities include state-of-the-art surgical suites and an in-house pharmacy, enabling the team to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care. With more than six decades of service to the community, the hospital has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary medicine in a professional and patient-focused environment. Team You will be working alongside 2 DVMs and supported by a full team of skilled support staff.
