Responsibilities
- Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of labor and delivery patients.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care within the unit, ensuring adherence to Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Monitor labor progress, administer medications as ordered, and respond to obstetric emergencies following policy and procedure.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and ancillary staff to promote safe, patient-centered care and smooth unit workflow.
- Document care accurately in the patient record and communicate changes in condition to the health care team.
- Uphold professional standards, patient safety, privacy, and dignity while promoting cooperation among the health care team.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license to practice in California.
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Experience: Labor and Delivery experience preferred; travel nursing experience a plus.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity obstetric setting.
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements and complete necessary onboarding for the assignment.
