Summary: IHL Group is looking for a passionate Senior Technical Designer to join our Sleepwear division! This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a leading company within the fashion industry.
About IHL: IHL Group is a New York City-Based, trend-driven company specializing in Women and Children’s apparel.
IHL Group was established in 2007. Since it opened its doors, IHL Group has securely positioned itself as a recognized manufacturer and wholesaler with its North American and global presence across all major channels.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Design team to execute design intent/tech packs, to achieve costing price point from design inception through production.
- Work well cross-functionally amongst the Sleepwear technical design team; ensuring that all decisions made are shared as a collective effort with Design team.
- Create and update specification tech packs, including detailed technical sketches, graded measurements, and construction details.
- Works closely with design and production to resolve delivery and material issues affecting production as needed.
- Adhere to time and action calendars.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10+ years of technical design experience.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.
- Proficiency in ADOBE Creative Suite such Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment.
Job Logistics
Location: New York, NY – Midtown West
Schedule: We are operating in-office Monday-Friday.
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000
