Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Required Skills/Experience: Vents, BiPAP, basic RT treatments, EKGs, and intubation assist.

Special Requests: Accepts duos with aligned timing. Must disclose any previous Marshfield employment in the submission; if previously worked for Marshfield, end date must be at least 6 months before submission. Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Unit Details: 20-25 treatments per RT per day; typically 2 RTs per shift. Mainly adults, with minimal pediatrics and neonates (ER or newborn); may go to high-risk deliveries at very low frequency. Covers inpatient, ER, ICU, Med-Surg floors, and facility emergencies in the clinic. Basic therapies, ABGs, EKGs, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilators, intubation weaning and extubation, and charge verification. Assists with intubation; inserts King airways in emergency situations prior to provider arrival. May staff independently during call-ins or staffing shortages, though this is avoided when possible. RT equipment includes vents PB980, PB840, SurvoU, LTV1200, Hamilton; BiPAP/CPAP V60 and Home Resmed; high flow Optiflow. Hospitalist in house 24/7; intensivist in house for most of the day; eICU support overnight.

Shift & Scheduling: 0600-1800 or 1800-0600 variable; on rare occasions shifts may vary, and the traveler will be notified before a switch. Rotating about every 3rd weekend, depending on call-ins and staffing. 2/3 for winter holidays; every other holiday coverage otherwise.
