The Role
- Provide high-quality emergency and critical care for small-animal patients across a full acuity spectrum, from urgent to complex cases
- Lead triage, stabilization, diagnostics, and treatment, with the ability to transfer appropriate cases to on-site specialty services the next day
- Perform emergency procedures and selected emergent surgeries with surgical support available
- Collaborate closely with specialists in internal medicine, surgery, oncology, cardiology, neurology, and critical care
- Utilize on-site imaging, laboratory, and procedural capabilities to support timely case management
- Contribute to a teaching-friendly environment through mentoring of team members and visiting learners
- Participate in a schedule designed to support work-life balance; specific options will be discussed during the interview process

Requirements
- DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Texas
- Eligibility to work in the United States
