Job Description


We're looking for Food Service Workers who are excited to support our patients, visitors, and staff by preparing and serving quality meals in a safe and sanitary environment. In this role, you'll assist with food preparation and service, maintain cleanliness throughout the department, support dishwashing operations, and help ensure food and supplies are properly stored. We value teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service, and we're excited to welcome teammates who bring these strengths to our team.


Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food for patients and staff.

• Store food and supplies according to department standards.

• Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain clean work areas.

• Maintain department sanitation and follow food safety procedures.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic Food Handler's Certificate in California required within 30 days of hire.

• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language.

• Ability to follow and comprehend written and verbal instructions.

• Experience in quality food production in a hospital or similar facility is desirable, but not required.

• Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, coworkers, and community.
