Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, clearly explaining each step to promote peace of mind
• Work alongside radiologists and referring physicians to produce top-quality diagnostic images
• Handle and maintain imaging equipment meticulously, reporting any issues without delay
• Document all procedures precisely and update patient records in the electronic medical system
• Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous
