Join us and let's work together to make Showboat resort the premier choice for families and fun seekers looking for unforgettable experiences.Showboat Core Values Demonstrates Showboats core values in the performance of position responsibilities:1) Friendly Focused – we are committed to creating a fun environment that embraces families and children of all ages.2) Kindness Focused – we demonstrate kindness in everything we do, seeking to uplift and support all of those around us.3) Team Spirit – we foster a respectful workplace where team members work together to exceed our guest's expectations.4) Hearts the Serve – we are driven by a passion to bring joy and happiness to the guests that we serve.5) Take Ownership – we take full responsibility for our actions and the resulting outcomes, embracing personal accountability. Keeping the Splash SpotlessAs a Waterpark Park Services Associate, you help keep the waterpark sparkling, safe, and guest-ready—so the fun never has to hit “pause.” You’ll focus on sanitation and general cleaning across restrooms, locker rooms, decks, and public areas while staying guest-friendly and safety-minded.Key responsibilities include:- Maintain restroom, shower, locker room, and deck cleanliness; keep areas neat and orderly- Collect and remove trash; empty waste receptacles; keep floors clear of debris and spills- Wipe down furniture and hard surfaces; remove stains; vacuum as needed- Keep windows and doorways free of smudges and fingerprints- Greet guests, answer basic questions, and respond to requests- Use cleaning chemicals safely and as directed; support other tasks as assignedQualifications: - Must be 16+ years old- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently- Strong guest service and communication skills; safety focused- Flexible availability (nights, weekends, and/or holidays)- High school diploma/GED or related experience; sanitation/guest service experience preferredDuties and ResponsibilitiesProtect establishment and guests by adhering to cleanliness of the entire WaterparkInteract with waterpark guests by greeting, answering questions and responding to requestsPerforms daily routine chores and maintenance of the Waterpark to ensure overall cleanliness and a neat and  orderly appearance, including the cleaning of decks, restrooms and locker roomsEnsures windows and doorways are free of fingerprints and smudgesEnsures that furniture and hard surfaces of public areas are clean and organized; keeps floors free of debris and spills and empties all waste receptacles in public spacesCleans and sanitizes Waterpark restrooms and shower areasEnsure walkways are free from debris to prevent guest injuryPerforms other duties as assigned
