Job Description As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Pueblo, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and help maintain a secure environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.63 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Monitor entry points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site requirements. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, restricted locations, business spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Follow applicable aerospace and defense facility requirements, including reporting unusual activity, policy violations, and security-related incidents through established procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
