Mobile Associate, Store in Store - Retail Sales

Job Overview Mobile Associates, Store‑in‑Store (SiS) are integral to the Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They serve as ambassadors who create energy and excitement around products and services, engage in high‑traffic retail environments, and adapt to continuous changes in technology, customer needs, and the retail experience. Responsibilities Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment. Use digital tools, communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions. Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process. Identify customer needs and use solution‑based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T‑Mobile products and services. Recommend wireless solutions and onboard customers to use the T‑Mobile app for self‑serve and utilization. Complete training on the in‑store experience, new skills, products, processes, and reference resources. Review personal results, current promotions, and updates on the Hub to stay customer‑ready at all times. Continuously learn and improve skills to provide the best possible experience for customers. Partner with nearby store locations to onboard customers, practice skills, share knowledge, and handle opening and closing procedures. Carry keys to kiosk cabinets, lock and secure kiosks and assets, and report lost keys or assets to the manager. Perform price overrides for specialty offers specific to national retail. Build rapport, trust, and loyalty with customers, exceeding their expectations. Proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales activity, follow up, capture referrals, and manage “Be Back” processes. Collaborate with location leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set‑up to device support and account servicing. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (Required). Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail environment preferred. Coaching, communication, consultative selling, customer communications, education, engagement, needs identification, referrals, satisfaction management, service, leadership, product knowledge, relationship building, sales, prospecting, and techniques. At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Travel Required: No. DOT Regulated: No. Safety Sensitive Position: No. Compensation & Incentives Hourly base pay of $20.50 plus $5.00 per hour training pay during the first 90 days. Upon completion of training, Mobile Associates can be promoted to Mobile Expert and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year, with actual incentives varying by performance and full‑time status.
