Position Summary Physical Therapist Assistant (Part Time to Full Time) West Ashley, Charleston, SC Position Summary We are a cutting‑edge rehab company looking to hire a rehabilitation technician/physical therapy aide to support Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy clinicians. The role requires organization, motivation, teamwork, and a commitment to patient care. Essential Duties Assist with preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use. Maintain and inventory or replace supplies. Perform basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs, heat packs, and other modalities as instructed. Help and/or observe patients perform prescribed therapy exercises and document patient responses to treatment. Learn to use advanced rehab technology and diagnostics. Safely transport, balance, ambulate, and position patients. Execute administrative tasks, including assisting with patient intake, answering phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, and supporting business/marketing duties as assigned. Collaborate with the team to identify and execute strategies for practice growth. Foster a client‑centered environment by actively engaging patients in their treatment plans and health journey. Continuously expand your skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent customer service and problem‑solving skills. Organizational detail orientation and ability to multitask. Proficiency in computer use and learning new software programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Proactive, with a strong desire to contribute to the growth and success of the practice.
