A growing industrial construction and services company in the northern Denver area is seeking a hands‑on Controller to help support the next phase of company growth and operational expansion. This is a highly visible role partnering closely with leadership and operations teams to help strengthen accounting processes, improve reporting, and support a growing multi‑entity environment. The company specializes in industrial construction services including steel, piping, fabrication, equipment installation, millwright services, and related project‑based operations. This opportunity is ideal for someone coming from a construction, industrial services, specialty contractor, or project‑based accounting environment who enjoys being both strategic and hands‑on. What You’ll Be Doing Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and job costing functions Manage WIP reporting and percentage‑of‑completion accounting Partner with Project Managers and Operations teams on project financials and cost tracking Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting Improve accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and internal controls Assist with audit coordination, compliance, and multi‑entity accounting processes Help support continued operational growth and accounting infrastructure improvements What They’re Looking For 7+ years of accounting/finance experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or another project‑based environment Strong experience with job costing, WIP reporting, and construction accounting operations Experience managing month‑end close and financial reporting processes Knowledge of GAAP and project accounting principles ERP/accounting systems experience (Viewpoint, Sage, CMiC, ComputerEase, or similar preferred) CPA or CPA‑track background is a big plus, but not required Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross‑functionally with operations and leadership Why This Opportunity Stable and growing company with strong project backlog High visibility role with leadership exposure Opportunity to help shape processes and infrastructure during growth Collaborative and hands‑on environment Competitive compensation package including bonus and benefits Compensation expected to fall in the $130K–$140K range plus bonus, depending on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Brick Staffing, LLC
