Financial Operations Representative

Work closely with reconciliation teams to research and resolve breaks identified during daily bank and transaction reconciliations Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues Ensure accurate and timely processing Manage a queue of reconciliation exceptions identified during daily reconciliations Communicate resolution details to reconciliation teams once items are resolved Serve as an escalation point for more complex reconciliation issues Provide guidance to support timely resolution Prioritize workflow to ensure processing standards and client expectations are met Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency Conduct root cause/trend analysis and work with internal teams to minimize open items Create and maintain process documentation and procedures Train and guide associates within the team by sharing job knowledge and best practices Requirements High school or equivalent required and Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred Must have 2+ years experience financial operations, banking, reconciliation, or a related financial services environment Experience researching and resolving reconciliation discrepancies, exceptions, or operational issues Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and follow through to resolution Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams Proven ability to document processes and procedures clearly Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial operations and reconciliation processes, with a strong focus on problem-solving, process improvement, and effective communication.
