Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology- Part Time, Days (Novi)

Nursing Position

Schedule: Part time, 8-hour shifts; 3 days one week and 2 the opposite week. Day shift, Monday through Friday, On-Call Rotation - during the week and weekend/holidays

Department: Imaging Support Services, Hospital: Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital, Location: Novi, MI

General Summary:

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Education/Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing, BSN preferred.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Preferred Experience:

• Sedation experience & ACLS preferred
• Previous 1-2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
• RN with IR, ICU or ER / Trauma or procedural experience

Certification/Licensure Required:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS)
