Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid nursing license (PA or accepted compact state) Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Rehabilitation or acute care experience Description: RN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The facility has 59 beds, with 11 located in a locked neuro unit. The patient population includes those recovering from strokes, TBIs, post-orthopedic surgeries, and MVAs. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 or 1:7. Hours are from 19:00 to 07:30, with a requirement for every other weekend. The rehabilitation hospital is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to individual needs. Conditions treated include stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The facility strives to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. It holds Joint Commission Certification, with specialty certifications in stroke and brain injury. Quality and outcomes are maintained to the highest standards.
