Registered Nurse - Emergency Medicine

Location: Johnstown, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Various shifts available; preferences will be discussed during the interview.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing skills, with trauma and critical care experience preferred. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and document care activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required; CEN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
• Current clearances, including Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Fingerprinting.
