Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - Inpatient to the Behavioral Health group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Nort h Central Bronx. NCB is a 213-bed community hospital providing quality care in a friendly and setting. This facility provides a range of services, and is known for its outstanding Behavioral Health, Women's Health, Primary Care, Pediatric, Geriatric and Specialty Ambulatory services. North Central Bronx has a reputation for its devotion to the needs of its patients and has created programs tailored to provided dedicated care to the community it serves. The department of Psychiatry has 3 Adult Inpatient Units, a satellite CPEP, a Psychiatry Consultation Liaison service, a Partial Hospital Program, an Outpatient Department, and an ACT team.

Opportunity Details:

• Work with an experienced multidisciplinary clinical staff to provide hands-on direct clinical assessment, diagnosis, acute stabilization and management, crisis intervention and care, and appropriate disposition for a cohort of inpatients.
• Responsibility for clinical and educational activities on a 23-bed acute adult inpatient unit, including participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Direct supervision of Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychiatric PA staff and Medical Students.
• Participate in all activities related to clinical care and documentation of care, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and student supervision, education & training.
• Participate in our innovative integrative care activities.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry.
• Completionof an approved Psychiatry residency training program.
• MD or DO from accredited school of medicine.
• License to practice medicine in the State of NY.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $267,900* (board eligible); $278,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $438,690** (board eligible) and $450,020** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
• Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
