Maintenance Mechanic II

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to join our Second and Third Shift teams. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated packaging machinery, conveyor systems, and plant facilities. If you have a solid mechanical foundation and a commitment to safety and quality, we want you on our team.

salary: $58,000 - $60,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• quipment Maintenance: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and repair plant machinery and components.

• Packaging & Systems: Apply intermediate knowledge to repair automated packaging machinery, pumps, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

• Electrical & Controls: Read basic electrical schematics, diagnose minor electric motor/device control problems, and work safely with low and high-voltage circuits.

• Fabrication & Repair: Utilize welding (gas and arc), soldering, basic plumbing, and carpentry skills to complete facility repairs.

• Food Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with corporate food safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and facility cleanliness to ensure a contamination-free product.

• Parts Sourcing: Identify and order required parts and materials using manufacturer manuals and prints.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 25lbs
• standing for 6 hours at one time
• working weekends
