Granville Stone & Hearth is looking for a motivated, customer focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in helping customers find the right products and solutions.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be a key point of contact for customers from the initial inquiry through the sale. You’ll work closely with customers, vendors, and our internal team to provide knowledgeable product guidance, prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and help ensure a smooth customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, and in-person customer inquiries
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Prepare estimates, quotes, and sales orders accurately
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and open opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information
- Coordinate with purchasing, operations, installation, and other team members
- Stay knowledgeable about our products, services, and current offerings
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Work toward individual and company sales goals
- Help resolve customer questions or concerns in a professional manner
What We're Looking For
- Previous sales, customer service, or related experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, friendly, and professional phone presence
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities
- Strong follow-through and a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with computers, email, and standard office software
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with stone, masonry, fireplaces, hearth products, construction, building materials, or home improvement is a plus.
