Part-Time Registered Nurse

Role: Stepdown Overflow Registered Nurse Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based nursing care for intermediate-acuity patients transitioning from ICU or med-surg. Manage complex monitoring and titrate medications appropriately. Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments. Support throughput by flexing across stepdown and overflow beds, ensuring safe handoffs. Qualifications & Skills: Current RN license. Experience with intermediate or critical care nursing preferred. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment. Key Duties: Providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care. Managing complex patient monitoring and medication adjustments. Facilitating effective communication among care teams and with patients/families.
