Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Employment Type: Travel nursing contract Location: Cleveland, Ohio Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370 Start Date: November 16, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks, through February 14, 2027 Schedule: 36 hours per week consisting of three 12-hour day shifts Shift Pattern: Two weekend 12-hour shifts and one 12-hour weekday shift Additional Scheduling: Holiday coverage or call shifts may be required Healthcare Setting: Level I academic trauma center with 33 operating room suites Operating Room RN Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Ohio RN surgery or perioperative nursing credentials At least 1 year of operating room nursing experience Ability to provide perioperative care for orthopedic, neurological, vascular, thoracic, and trauma procedures Strong knowledge of surgical safety, aseptic technique, and operating room protocols Scrubbing experience preferred Ability to complete required clinical competency and credentialing processes Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care throughout the perioperative process Prepare operating rooms, equipment, supplies, and instruments for scheduled procedures Support orthopedic, neurological, vascular, thoracic, and trauma surgeries Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team Maintain sterile technique and promote adherence to surgical safety standards Monitor patients, anticipate clinical needs, and respond effectively in a high-acuity trauma environment Accurately document patient care and communicate essential information during handoffs Participate in weekend, holiday, and call coverage as assigned Apply now for this Cleveland, Ohio travel nursing opportunity and join a leading perioperative healthcare team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse.
