Family Practice PhysicianGreat Barrington, MAFull TimeThe Physician will join a dedicated team of healthcare providers and will provide comprehensive and continuing care. This will include routine and emergency clinic care, support of health promotion and preventative medicine. This person will support client mission, vision, and values and will adhere to compliance protocols as well as their policies and procedures.Physician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Participate in the practice call scheduleMaintain board certificationMaintain all other required certifications including BLS and PALSMaintain patient medical records within the electronic health record in a timely fashionSubmit patient charges in a timely fashionSupport the mission, vision and values of organizationBe a community ambassador for OrganizationAbide by all human resource policies including those pertaining to professional behaviorParticipate in practice and organizational meetings and events in a positive, collaborative, and supportive mannerBe a supportive and collaborative practice partnerProvide constructive guidance and feedback to colleagues and organizationParticipate in the peer review programSupervise colleagues as neededQualifications for PhysicianGraduation from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited residencyLicensing through the USMLEActive and unrestricted Massachusetts medical licenseSpecialty board certification or obtaining such within one year of hirePrefer previous practice experience but will consider new grad with J1Prefer bilingual in English and SpanishAdditional Qualifications for Physician:Medical degree from an accredited medical schoolBoard certification in primary care specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine)Valid medical license in the state of practiceExcellent clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices and standardsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team membersAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-based environmentExperience in managing chronic conditions and providing preventive care servicesFamiliarity with electronic health record systems for documentation purposesHealthcare setting:ClinicOutpatientPrimary care specialties:Internal MedicinePrimary CareSchedule:8-hour shiftSkills and Certifications MD
