Production Supervisor (Machine Shop)

This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Operations department and serves customers across a diverse range of applications. Location & Schedule Location: New Port Richey, FL, onsite. Work schedule: Monday thru Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Export Control & Citizenship Requirements This position requires access to export‑controlled commodities. U.S. citizenship, U.S. lawful permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization. Essential Job Functions Supervise daily manufacturing operations in an Aerospace Machine Shop to meet production requirements and deliver quality products to customers in a timely and cost‑effective manner. Work closely with Production Planners; oversee floor stock activities and transactions, and close out work orders. Integrate Danaher Business System into value‑stream operations, including updating production charts (visual management tools), reporting production metrics, team goals, and countermeasures during daily management meetings, and overseeing associate training. Ensure compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practice rules, product documentation, specifications, standard operating procedures, and customer requirements. Support and emphasize safety and quality commitments of the value‑stream, making decisions concerning these commitments within the area. Manage associate performance and development, including recognition, feedback, corrective or disciplinary actions, training, developmental processes, and daily attendance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2 years of manufacturing experience or a minimum of 7 years of manufacturing management experience. Experience tracking and managing cost, quality, and schedule in a manufacturing environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing plant setting. Knowledge of machine shop tools and equipment; understanding of GMPs and other regulatory guidelines applicable to the aerospace industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels; ability to respond to detailed inquiries and present information to groups and senior management. Collect and analyze data to determine pathways for process improvement and potential root‑cause/corrective actions in cases of exceptions. Proficiency in computer skills to access production information; experience with enterprise software (e.g., SAP) preferred; experience with MS Excel and MS Word required. Physical / Safety Requirements Use of hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment is required. Position requires standing and walking for extended periods. Required lifting weight: up to 30 lbs. Lifting frequency: daily. Bend, lift, sit, and/or stand for long periods. Preferred Experience SAP. Aerospace manufacturing.
