Talis Group specializes in recruitment in the Legal Industry. Our company client, an established civil defense litigation firm in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their growing team. They specialize in defending employers, insurance carriers, and related entities in Black Lung Workers' Compensation claims and other civil litigation matters.

Highlighted duties:

• Assist attorneys with the management of litigation files.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents and case files.
• File documents with administrative agencies and courts.
• Schedule hearings, depositions, and medical evaluations.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and administrative agencies.
• Review medical records and other case-related documents.
• Maintain calendars, deadlines, and case management systems.

Highlighted Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• Prior professional administrative experience; medical terminology knowledge is a plus!
• Prior experience in injury litigation or workers compensation desired.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
• Professional demeanor and a willingness to learn.
