Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current state RN license Certifications: Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. Must-Have: ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire. Description: Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Experience in a similar role is preferred. ASLS certification is preferred.
