Director of Events & Catering
Location: Near Nashville Tennessee (Relocation Available)
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are partnering with a luxury resort property to identify a Director of Events & Catering to lead and elevate the events function within a high-touch, guest-focused environment.
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event strategy, planning, and execution, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for guests while driving revenue and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall events and catering strategy for the property
- Oversee planning and execution of weddings, corporate events, and group functions
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, culinary, and leadership teams
- Develop and mentor a high-performing events team
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience aligned with a luxury brand standard
- Drive revenue growth and optimize event performance
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a resort or luxury hospitality environment required
- Strong background in events, catering, or group sales leadership
- Proven ability to lead teams and execute at a high level
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Additional Details:
- Average work week: 50–55 hours, with peak season demands
- Open to local candidates and relocation
