About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee the day-to-day operations of its residential treatment program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of activities that align with the strategic plan, chairing executive and manager meetings, and ensuring the adherence to administrative operational policies and procedures. This role also involves personnel management, including training, evaluations, and conflict resolution, as well as acting as a liaison between the residential treatment program and various support teams. The COO will have both operational and clinical responsibilities, including the review and monitoring of behavioral clinical activities and the coordination of clinical development and training. Applicants for the Chief Operating Officer position at the company should have a doctoral degree in special education, psychology, or a related field, with a Master's degree considered if the candidate is enrolled in a program leading to a doctoral degree. A certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst is required, along with at least ten years of relevant clinical and management experience with individuals facing multiple challenges. The ideal candidate will also have Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education school Administrator of Special Education and Massachusetts Teacher certification in Special Education. The role demands the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, families, staff, and public safety officials.
