Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist for a travel assignment at a busy hospital. The role involves performing outpatient MRI exams using advanced imaging equipment and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic MRI procedures on outpatients according to physician orders.
• Operate GE MRI equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech and other electronic health records.
• Adhere to unit policies and protocols, including patient positioning and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with radiology team to coordinate schedules and workflow.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including ARRT or ARMRIT certification and BLS certification.

Qualifications:

• Hold active RT(MR)(ARRT) or ARMRIT certification.
• Possess valid Kansas state licensure for MRI technologists.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of radiology experience, with recent MRI work preferred.
• Be proficient in Meditech electronic medical records.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Have strong knowledge of human anatomy and MRI protocols.
