Chronic Pain Management APP (NP/PA)

Job Description: Lahey Hospital and Medical Center(LHMC), part of Beth Israel Lahey Health,has an immediate opening for a qualified Advanced Practice Provider(APP)to join its highly regarded Anesthesia Chronic Pain Servicein Burlington and Peabody, MA. TheLHMCAnesthesiateamprovidesanesthesia for approximately 25,000 cases annually.The APP will provide direct patient carerelativeto physical diagnosis and therapeutic management in an ambulatory and/or inpatient setting to patients with complex medical conditions or surgical patients. The APP will also: Coordinate the care of patients in order to provide safe, effective, efficient,and timely patient centered care. Actas a liaison between visiting nurses, clinical staff, andconsultservices. Consult with physicians or surgeonsregardingthe care of patients for more complex diagnosis. Providedirect patient care and management for allopioidpatients. Education: Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited Physician Program. Documentation of registration for next NCCPA Board administration or successful completion of NCCPA Board and maintenance ofappropriate CME. Practitioner RN: Graduate of aMaster’sProgram in Nursing.Maintain currency through Clinical Education Units. Licensure, Certification, Registration: Certification and current license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. DEA number and Mass Department of Public Health Division of Food and Drug Restricted Substances registration number asappropriate. Written prescription privilege protocols signed by all attending physicians with whom the individual will be working. Experience: Previousexperience in the operating room is strongly preferred. $133,120.00 USD - $215,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
