Location: Winona, MN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Flexible; occasional evening and community networking events)
Compensation: $46,000-$60,000+ Annual OTE (Base Salary + Commission)

Position Overview


We are seeking a motivated Account Manager to develop and grow advertising partnerships with local and regional businesses. This is a consultative, relationship-focused sales role responsible for helping clients achieve their marketing goals through a combination of radio, digital, and outdoor advertising solutions.


The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, networking in the community, identifying business opportunities, and helping clients develop effective advertising strategies. This position offers the opportunity to build a strong book of business while representing a well-established and respected local media organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business relationships through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community involvement.
• Manage and grow an existing book of business while identifying opportunities for expansion.
• Meet with business owners and decision-makers to understand their advertising and marketing goals.
• Develop customized advertising solutions utilizing radio, digital, and billboard advertising platforms.
• Prepare and present advertising proposals and campaign recommendations.
• Maintain consistent contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and campaign success.
• Track sales activity, opportunities, and client communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
• Attend community events, networking opportunities, and client meetings as needed.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.

Qualifications


Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls and developing new business.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local client visits.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Previous B2B sales, account management, advertising, marketing, or media sales experience.
• Experience managing client relationships and sales pipelines.
• Familiarity with digital marketing, advertising, or media solutions.
